How do I place my order?
You can place your order using our secure and user-friendly website, or by calling us at 206.859.9591.
When do I place my order?
Your order should be placed by Tuesday for delivery on Sunday of that specific week. Like many of our customers, you may pre-order for weeks in advance for peace of mind.
What is the minimum I can order?
The minimum order for delivery is $40 per week plus tax.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes, due to the soaring gas prices, there is a $5.99 delivery fee per order.
Where do you deliver?
As of May, 2009, we deliver to addresses in South and West Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Issaquah, Sammamish, and Woodinville. We plan to expand our service area even more. If you are not sure we can deliver to you, please contact us.
Is there a deposit for the insulated cooler bags?
Yes, there is a one-time $20 deposit for the insulated cooler bags. We cannot process your order if you do not include the deposit. This deposit will be refunded if you decide to discontinue your service with us.
How are meals packed and delivered?
All Turmeric ‘n More meals are carefully packed in tightly sealed, individually labeled plastic containers, then delivered in insulated cooler bags with ice packs by our delivery staff. The food containers we provide are recyclable, and if you don’t plan on reusing them, please return them so that we may do our part in conserving our environment.
Which day is the delivery?
Your meals are delivered every Sunday evening for orders placed by Tuesday .
Is there a delivery time slot?
Due to order volume, we keep a wide window between 2 pm to 8pm on Sundays. It depends on where your location falls in our delivery route.
Do I need to be home to receive the meals?
No. Our delivery staff will leave the insulated bag for you at your door step. Please leave the previous week’s insulated bag and ice packs for our delivery staff to pick up at the time of delivery.
Why do you need my cell phone number?
If the delivery staff has any urgent questions during delivery, we need your cellular number to alleviate the issue. If unable to contact, the delivery staff will only follow its instincts; for which the liability is on the customer. We will not make more than one attempt to deliver the food.
What if delivery staff can not access to our condo/apartment because I am not answering the phone or name directory has a different last name or I am not home at the time of delivery?
Please provide us with your access code (if possible).
Provide us with your cell phone number not the land line.
Watch the delivery window and answer the phone.
Customers are responsible to provide correct and listed last names on apartment/condominium building directories.
We will not make more than one attempt to deliver the food. Turmeric ‘n More is not responsible for technical problems in building directories.
No refunds will be issued for the food for any of the above reasons.
What if I loose the ice packs?
Please replace all ice packs by the next delivery.
Upon discontinuation of the service, how do I return the insulated bag and get my refund?
Please order for the last time, so we may collect the bag upon delivery. Or you may like to mail it in or visit our kitchen to drop it off: 747 N. 135th Street, Seattle, WA 98133. We will mail your refund check as soon as we get the bag back. In either case, give us a call for appropriate instructions.
About Our Meals
How are Turmeric ‘n More meals prepared?
All of our meals are prepared and cooked by our professionally trained staff at our commercial kitchen in Kenmore, Washington. We use freshly ground spices, the leanest high quality meat, fresh vegetables, and whole grains in our dishes. No heavy cream, ghee (clarified butter), packaged spices or preservatives are added to any of our dishes.
Do you serve Halal meat?
Yes. We entertain Halal entrees for our valued customers. Meat cut according to strict Islamic dietary laws is considered halal. As part of the process, the blood of the animal is completely drained from the body, thus decreasing the chances of harmful bacteria surviving.
What about the fat content in the meals?
We do not use heavy cream or ghee (clarified butter) in any of our dishes.
Are any preservatives used in the meals?
We do not use any preservatives or store bought spice blends in our dishes.
How many servings are in each meal?
Each serving of our entrees is enough for at least two adults. You can order serving amounts according to the size of your family or group. All vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian entrees are packed in 16 oz. deli containers. Rice entrees are packed in 32 oz. containers.
How do I reheat the meals at home when I receive them?
The meals can be reheated by microwave in the plastic containers in which they arrive.
If I heat a meal and then don’t eat it all right away, can I store the leftovers in the refrigerator?
Yes, as long as you store them in a covered plastic container, your leftovers can be used again. Used or unused meals are recommended to be stored on the top shelf of your refrigerator.
